AI Fluency Council

Terms of service.

Last updated November 4, 2026.

These terms govern use of this website and participation in AI Fluency Council assessment and certification. By submitting an inquiry, purchasing an assessment or submitting work for grading, you accept these terms. Separate services linked from this website may have their own terms.

The certification

Certification includes quizzes after each section, a 100-question final test and a project. The Council grades the project against its published rubric and issues a credential to candidates who meet the standard. The certification course is provided through AiHammock, and credentials are published on the Applied AI Registry. Those services operate under their own terms and policies.

Certification confirms that a candidate’s assessed work met the Council’s standard at the time of assessment. It is not a guarantee of employment, performance or fitness for any particular role.

Candidate work and integrity

Submitted projects must be the candidate’s own work. The Council may withhold or revoke a credential where a submission is not the candidate’s own work, where the assessment process was manipulated, or where a credential is misrepresented.

Candidates retain ownership of the work they submit. The Council uses submissions to assess, grade and maintain the integrity of the certification.

Credentials and the Registry

Credentials are current for one year from the issued date and lapse unless renewed. Lapsed credentials remain on the Registry, marked lapsed.

Public Registry entries show the credential holder’s name, credential ID, status and dates. Credential holders may share their Registry link and credential ID with employers and others for verification.

Payment and refunds

The individual assessment is priced at $197 one-time. Team pricing starts at $197 per seat, with volume discounts available for larger organizations. Purchases and payment processing take place through the service where enrollment occurs.

Refunds are available in full within 30 days of purchase if no project has been submitted for grading. Once a project has been submitted, the assessment has been delivered and the purchase is not refundable.
